At Brainy Kids, we use a combination of phonics instructions and whole word learning.

Phonics means, learning the letter sounds that go together to form English words. The English language is made up of 44 individual letter sounds.

Once the children learn these sounds and learn how to build words with them, learning English is fast, easy and lots of fun. In fact, phonics allows children to read close to 90% of the words in the English language without having to spend hours tr ying to remember the words.

Brainy Mandarin Classes

There are 201 basic Mandarin alphabetic characters set called “bu shou".

A complicated word can be learnt by breaking it down to smaller parts, making it easier to remember and understand!

With our diverse multilingual Malaysian culture, your child might confuse themselves with the pronunciations from other languages with Mandarin.

With our Brainy Mandarin Classes at Brainy Kids, your child can learn Chinese easily by using hand movements, stories, poems, songs, rhymes, tongue twisters and pronunciations “hanyu pinyin”, and at the same time master their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
